THE ROLE
As Sales Manager Nordics you are responsible for the sales policy in the Nordics and its implementation. You determine the strategy and you supervise the implementation. The strategy for the coming years is to further grow the Bolsius brand, within existing channels and customers, and beyond. We have a good market position in the Nordics where we have grown over the years, and are present across different channels, both in retail and Foodservice. As the Sales Manager for the Nordics, you will be responsible for creating a high-performing account team and driving sales across all channels in the region. Your goal will be to develop, implement, and direct the sales strategy to achieve revenue and margin growth. The Sales Manager Nordics will report to the Business Unit Manager International Business and lead a team of 2 National Account Managers based in Sweden and Finland working from their home office and 2 Key account managers based in Sweden in our office in Växjö. As Sales Manager at Bolsius, you will be in a truly collaborative and international context where you will work cross functionally with our multi-channel resources in the International Business Unit, including Finance, Category Management, Brand Management and Supply Chain.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As Sales Manager you will be responsible for driving our continued growth and achieving our volume sales, net margin and EBIT objectives for the Nordics. Your key tasks will include:

  • Build and develop the sales team in the Nordics and define what ‘fit for growth’ looks like and lead by example by promoting Bolsius’ values. Training, coaching and further development of the international team as well as the individual members.
  • Develop and implement account and category management plans to realize structural revenue and margin growth.
  • Analyze markets, channels, customers, and distributors to create regional channel and key account plans.
  • Establish long-term partnerships with key accounts in the Nordics and drive the transition from supplier to partner through category leadership.
  • Define and execute sales policies, pricing strategies, and manage supporting budgets.
  •  Initiate value engineering projects and drive supply chain efficiencies.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration within the International Business Unit and with central organizational functions including category management, customer service, demand planning and finance.

REQUIREMENTS
We are looking for a strong commercial, passionate and results driven Sales Manager with experience from the FMCG-industry in the Nordics. The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:

  • Minimum 8 years of commercial experience in Sales.
  •  Experience within FMCG and working with retail channels in the Nordics. Experience from sales to the major food retail chains in Sweden is a must-have. It is highly meriting if you also have experience from working with other channels and with other Nordic countries.
  •  Experience of managing direct reports.
  •  Proficiency in English and at least one Scandinavian language.
  •  Academic degree or equivalent work experience, ideally in a commercial field.

You are a team player with strong strategic skills and ability to plan and organize your work and lead your team by example.
