THE ROLE

Do you want to set the standard of shopper activation in the Home Ambiance category across the EU?
Bolsius seeks a Shopper Activation Specialist, who will be responsible for the development and execution of shopper activation initiatives. Based on strong shopper insights, you will lead the implementation of point-of-sales activities and tailor-made promotions, and to secure a state-of-the-art Bolsius instore presence. In this role you will work with a lot of different internal stakeholders and disciplines to accelerate Bolsius’ visibility on the shop floor. The Shopper Activation Specialist reports to the Business Unit Manager BeNeLux, France, Italy, UK, Canada.

YOUR TASKS
You will translate category plans into differentiating and effective shopper activation plans, together with sales and the Category Manager, in line with the Brand Strategy and commercial priorities. You will proactively propose new shopper activation opportunities, while leading shopper activation development processes (promotional display and POS) and define improvement areas to maximize efficiency and effectiveness. You will be regarded as the promotional display/POS expert for internal stakeholders and our customers.
Your duties will include collecting and analyzing sell-out data, reviewing shopper marketing initiatives, benchmarking, and continuously seeking improvements. You will ensure that shopper and customer insights, needs and limitations are included in all steps of the promotional display/POS processes. You will drive portfolio optimization for Bolsius instore furniture assets for all brands, while ensuring the development and availability of sales tools like catalogues and shopper content and contributes to our Bolsius presence on tradefairs.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
You hold a bachelor’s degree in marketing, commercial, and you are just graduated or have 1-3 years of work experience in FMCG business in European retail (food or non-food), and both (customer) marketing and sales. You are creative and flexible with excellent organizational and project management skills. With a ‘can do’ mentality, you speak fluent English and Dutch, you have an international outlook and culture.
